Lil kesh Biography: A Simple Guide to His Life, Achievements, and Net Worth

Nigerian rapper and musician Keshinro Ololade is better known by his stage name, Lil Kesh. In addition to English, he sings and raps in Yoruba and Pidgin English.

On March 14, 1995, Lil Kesh was born in Bariga, Lagos State, Nigeria. As of the moment he is writing this, he is 28 years old.

He completed his elementary and secondary education at Bariga, where he was born, at Stockbridge College. He studied linguistics at the University of Lagos (Unilag), where he completed his postsecondary education. The National Open University of Nigeria is where he also studied mass communication.

Lil Kesh originally intended to be a dancer, but after seeing artists like Olamide, Da Grin, Nigga Raw, and others rap, he decided to pursue music instead (you don’t say, no wonder he sings and raps like them).

Rapping music grabbed Lil Kesh’s interest at a young age, having grown up in the notoriously difficult neighbourhood of Bariga. He developed his abilities by taking part in a number of street performances and rap battles, where he was recognised by his peers for his skill in poetry. His exposure to the problems in his neighbourhood had a significant impact on his music as well, since he frequently rapped about the hardships of living in Bariga.

In 2012, Lil Kesh began his musical career. His first record, “Tilted Lyrically,” became a hit in universities at the time (it seems like a lot of the inspiration for artists like Bella Shmurda and Seyi Vibez came from universities…).

A few while later, he became a member of YBNL, the record label owned by Senior Man Olamide (an acronym for “Yahoo Boy No Laptop”). It was with this record label that Lil Kesh received widespread recognition, and his career blossomed along with his university’s reputation.

His breakthrough song, Shoki, catapulted him into the spotlight due to its infectious energy and clever dance move (or dance hand, more accurately). Lil Kesh accomplished a lot for his music career while with YBNL, as evidenced by his well-known hit songs such as Shoki, Efejoku, Is it because I love you and many more others, brought him fame and glory in dah industry.

Lil Kesh still does music up till the time this post was written, he features Young upcoming artistes and senior ones as well. Some of his latest songs are love like this ft Fireboy DML, Don’t call me ft Zinoleesky and lots more hits Jams.

As previously said, Lil Kesh has only released one album to far, which is naturally YAGI. If Lil Kesh releases another album, this site will be updated with more information.

Because he opens his songs with slang, Lil Kesh is well-known for using it. He makes two statements: “Skibo robo skibo, skibo raba skiba EBA osheee baddest” or “Yagi Level” (laughs). He is well-known for his adorable clothing designs. In addition, he models.
